Lifting color Print E-mail
As we discussed before it is very hard to get the white back when the white is gone, but there are a few tricks you can try. There are two colors that are very hard to lift those are alizarin crimson and Windsor blue. If the paper is wet and you lay a dark color down you can take a cotton towel and rub onto the paper where you want the paint to be removed, you could use sandpaper if handled carefully, remember this will damage the paper but eh effect is refreshing, same for a sharp blade to remove the paint and leave lines and strokes that are very interesting. A small sponge can be used for removal or blotching the paper for a cloud effect.
